Conservation Planning Efforts in Forested Regions of the United States: November 17
SFI Inc. Director of Conservation Partnerships facilitated this webinar led by T. Bently Wigley, from the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement (NCASI), joined by Phillip Weatherford (NCASI) and Carolyn Mehl (Ecosystem Management Research Institute). SFI: Taking Action to Combat Illegal Logging: June 14
SFI Inc. Senior Director of Government Outreach, Nadine Block, co-hosted a 1-hour live webinar with Adam Grant, Senior Associate, World Resources Institute, to examine efforts to combat illegal logging. The webinar provided an update on recent government initiatives, highlighted how the SFI Standard addresses legality in the supply chain, and previewed tools being developed by the Forest Legality Alliance to help companies along the supply chain conduct due diligence on forest trade.
